This is not a fluke Masyn Winn is on this roster to hang. He’s the guy right now.
The strict leash on helsley only being a 9th inning guy is potentially the best decision Oli has made as a manager. It seemed obvious to me for a while but I’m glad they made the change sooner rather than later
A sentence I did not think I’d be saying: Thank you to the rock solid pitching staff for keeping us in a lot of these games even though our offense is struggling. Can’t count on winning much when you only score three runs or less a game but the arms have impressed so far.
Hell yeah Sonny and Masyn. MVP is Mark Kotsay, I don’t know how that roster is 7-10, but I hope he keeps it going and the Sacremento/LV A’s lose out on a top 3 pick.

Takeaways. Gray looks great, as advertised, and I was one that wasn’t buying the hype.
Winn, is going to be a gamer. Look forward to a lineup with him, BD, Tommy, and Noot.
Walker just needs to be let loose to hit, the org needs to quit worrying about the long ball and let his hit tool do its thing, the power will come.

Would have liked to see a bit more offense, but it’s hard to complain too much with the performance Sonny gave. Even on a pitch limit, he’s putting up great numbers.
They drive in two more of those runners they had in scoring position and this game ends 5-1 that’s a zero complaint night.
