[J Ben] Latu is absolutely their Top rated edge according to my source. However, Falcons are wanting to trade back and maybe even pick up an additional 1st round pick.

5. The dream is McCarthy is avaliable at 8, trade down with the Vikings, trade something like this

   Falcons receive 11, 23, 129

   Vikings receive 8, 74, 109

   Yes we would be fleecing them, yes that is the price to trade up for a QB typically

6. Let’s be real, we want to trade back to 11 and pick up 23. There’s buzz about Latu to the Broncos at 12, so we’ll want to stay ahead of them, and 15-25 is a prime range for CBs. It’s just that a lot is going to have to go right for that to happen.

   Presumably the Vikings would have to trade up to 4 with the Cardinals or 5 with the Chargers, then one of the top 3 WRs would have to fall to 8, then the team who traded back to 11 would have to want to come up to 8 for said WR, and the team trading up from 11 would have to be ok with giving up the 23rd pick (presumably 8 + 43 for 11 + 23).

   Maybe the Vikings can and will wait till 8 for their QB, but I doubt it given that they aggressively pursued a second 1st round pick in this year’s draft, which is appealing for a team looking to get a haul in a big trade. Moving up 3 spots isn’t a big trade.

7. Before the crapping on this guy begins PLEASE NOTE he has been right about everything he has said so far because he does have an inside source pumping him information.

   If Vikings want to get their Franchise QB they will have to give us 11 and 23 we can still get an edge at 11 Turner/Verse/Latu and then at 23 if a top WR or even CB is there then you still have a 2 and two 3s!

8. I mean…if the Falcons take Turner at 8 can we all agree that he’s not worth listening to? It’s basically been a large series of hedged bets and possibilities that never came to fruition since he got a couple right the first few days of free agency.

9. Take everything he says with a grain of salt. His #1 guy is Latu and he keeps trying to claim Latu is their top choice when other more credible sources say otherwise.
