1. Burn the tape. The group of fans in that video “wanted” Boston too, cringe fans in Florida.

   Time to exorcise our demons in the first round, guess this was inevitable.

2. Our defense just isn’t good enough and it sucks. Pasta is going to absolutely destroy Mo and Lybushkin.

15. Team needs to find motivation between periods, because whatever we have currently doesn’t cut out. Feels like we get outworked and the tempo of games can change very easily for us this year in the intermission.

    Was really hoping for Matthews to get 70 and for Reavo to put somebody in full body traction regardless of the score.

27. Brutal game. Why is Matthews playing below the net on powerplays half the time? He should be sitting like Ovi, and yet he’s retrieving pucks and being the dish-man.

    I wanna see 70, and I hope he gets it. But if he doesn’t, I hope it doesn’t affect his mindset in the playoffs: I don’t wanna see typical playoffs Matthews, this year’s gonna be different (🤡). We say it every year, but it’s all we have to hold onto at this point

35. Glad the stats start back at zero for the post season, cause the Leafs are not playing as a team right now and only care about one thing

36. I’m actually pretty hyped we’re getting Boston. I don’t care if everyone says we’re underdogs. A series win there would be a huge statement. We’re going to have to go through Florida *and* Boston if we want to make a run anyway.

    At this point I’m happy with that and the fact that we’re playing Boston.

    I’m also glad that the next game is tomorrow so I don’t have too long to wait to see if Matthews plays. Whatever decision that’s made regarding goal number 70 is fine with me. Not seeing Matthews on the ice tomorrow is a tough pill to swallow but seeing him get injured will be a tragedy of historical proportions

    Panthers looked like they were playing to win a hockey game.

46. WHY BOSTON?! Just why? I was mental prepared for Florida because it’s a new team we haven’t faced in the first round. But any hope for a reasonable series is out the window. Boston is going to destroy the team. The leafs haven’t won against them every time we face them.

47. We won the last game against Florida. This game was close except the disastrous 2nd period, the one period I didn’t watch lol

    It’s a game of inches. We came close to scoring several times in the third. We got a few days until the playoffs. This has been an overall decent season. Let’s bring out A game to the playoffs. I believe in the boys.
