“We grew so much as a line. Those two guys worked their butts off. They’re down to listen, down to learn. They got so much better throughout the year & they helped me become a better player too. All three of us love playing together, it’s been fun, we’re really excited to come back…” – Nick Suzuki

  2. I love our boys. And they aren’t even at their peak. We are lucky fans for the coming years, my lord.

  3. 34 years old and I’ve never seen such a good first line, especially with all 3 guys being so young. Beyond excited for what they will do next year.

  4. Those eyes…he’s visualizing the future, a better future where humans triumph over the machines and the Habs are in the playoffs!

Not only did that line do great with everybody reaching career bests. All three of them played all 82 games. Matheson, #1D also played all 82 games and obliterated his previous best offensive season. If they can all keep that up in future seasons that will lead to even more success in the upcoming seasons. Evans also played 82 games. Gallagher actually played all the games he could and only the suspension stopped him from playing all 82 games. All of those guys came back from injuries last season (besides Iron Suzuki).

Suzuki has competition in the pts/pg department with both Dach and Hutson attaining that fabled 1.00 pts/pg. He won’t be beat by them next season.
