Whoever did this draft obviously doesn’t realize that tee will play for us this year . . .
They’re really just reaping all the clickbait they possibly can before this thing kicks off.
>Letting Tee Higgins walk while replacing him in the draft the same year would fit the Bengals’ modus operandi.
I honestly don’t understand how someone could have a job as an NFL sportswriter and fundamentally not know basic information about the teams. Tee being tagged is probably the most prevalent Bengals news all offseason.
Lol that would be a disaster scenario. Taking a WR in the first round could be the worst move this team could make.
We could just as easily see what John Ross is up to these days and *not* draft a first round wide receiver.
Yeah, I like Ladd and would gladly take him at 49, but not at 18.
I think it’s important to note that one of the main metrics mock drafts are graded on is how far off their projections are as opposed to how many picks were correct. That’s why you sometimes see wild projections on mid and late first rounders. So if McConkey goes somewhere in the 15 to 20 range that would help the “accuracy” of this mock.
Also if everyone the Bengals like at OL, DT, or other needs are already off the board at 18, I could easily see them just taking the best available player on their board even if it’s a WR. Given that Chase’s fifth year option is at the WR Franchise Tag number (due to his two Pro Bowls), there will be a need for cheaper WR talent in 2025 and beyond.
Don’t forget that a lot of these mock drafts are purposefully outrageous just for clicks. Good mock drafts don’t get shared that often, but the spicy ones do.
Feels like the guy who made this wanted to assign Murphy to the Rams at 19 to make an Aaron Donald replacement reference and Mims to the Eagles to make a “Georgia to Eagles pipeline” reference. We get the leftovers even though we pick before them.
🤮

This is probably the worst mock I have seen all season so far. Even if Brian Thomas Jr is there I have a hard time seeing us picking him over Byron Murphy Jr
We have Ladd McConkey at home.
Sorry, hands too small.
I love “Im just gonna be different” mock draft season.
Hell yeah
There’s supposed to be a lot of WR talent available on day 2, so hopefully that doesn’t happen
no no no no bad bad
Im OK with this*
*This being taking McConkey in the late first because there was a run on OT and Murphy wasnt available so the team traded down
I will lose my fucking mind

Unserious CBS speculation aside, I will be beside myself if we do something stupid like draft McConkey at 18 or draft another 1st round TE.
Please God no…..
That’d be worse than the calls for bowers. At least bowers is elite (just a low value 1st round position)
So many good wrs will be there in the second that could be tee level or not that much worse.
You guys need other positions way more than WR for the 1st
