#Patriots de facto GM Eliot Wolf told reporters today:
— He's open to a trade out of No. 3: "We’re open in the first round or any round."
— If the answer is picking one of the top four QBs at No. 3: "I think we'd be comfortable with it."— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 18, 2024

Just seems like the answer any GM would give. Doesn’t hold much water.
This fits my narrative of trading up to #3 for Maye so I choose to believe this means something
If the commies don’t take maye I’m 10000% convinced we get him at 3
Feels like the entire league is waiting to see what Washington does at 2. If they take Daniels, I’m expecting a full-on bidding war to break out between us and Minnesota for Drake Maye. Hoping that our ability to guarantee one of MHJ, Nabers, or Odunze will make our package more appealing. But we’ll have to see how many future FRPs the Vikings are willing to give up.

People don’t read into this. Any gm would just say this
Another insightful piece of draft news
Wish we could skip a week.
Nah, we good.
Everyone should always be listening. You never know how crazy an offer you’ll get. There’s a point where X amount of 1st round picks can get you whatever or whoever you want.
More shit a GM is expected to say at draft time.
In other words, you want my pick? Pay up.

“From what I’ve heard the Patriots really like Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels..
I would be very surprised if the Patriots moved out” ~ @PSchrags #PMSLive
