  6. Yeah, I just don’t know if I have the strength to watch. May have to spend the night making Christmas cookies and occasionally checking a score.

  7. I’d really like to see Cossa get the net tonight. The team is on a losing streak so it wouldn’t hurt to shake it up and get a look at where he is against NHL competition.

  8. Today is going to be a loooooong day at work.  It is one of our big reporting days, and basically a 10+ hour day by the time everything is over.   Good parts – free, usually pretty nice breakfast and lunch.  I am looking forward to coming home and baking a pizza that is waiting for me in the freezer, opening a beverage and watching the Wings.  

    I’m trying to get to the point where I am just watching the young core players and paying way less attention to the overall outcome. So if Mo, Simon, Ray, Cat, Kasper and Berggy are looking good, then that is going to be enough for this season.  Asking for more feels like asking for too much with the roster construction issues and goalie injuries. 

    Anyway, LGRW and see you in 10+ hours for the game!  

  21. It would’ve been cool for Cossa’s first start to be at a home game, but I suspect if it’s not gonna happen in Buffalo or Philly, it might not happen for some time.

    But nice for him to get a little taste of NHL life.
