VJ and Maxey are dynamic. When one struggles, the other picks him up. Also, shout out QG for those clutch catch and shoot 3s.
I’ve seen enough. It was never a big 3, it’s a big 4
What’s very promising is how the team clearly adjusted from the previous game. They really boxed out cooper well and doubled him as much as possible.
More than a win, this shows progress game after game
A…well rounded, complete win?

There was no reason to play Maxey for 42 minutes tonight
Nice win. About time Mr. 5. Guess he was on a mission. Tyrese, Joel, and VJ were nice. Well except for Joel’s 3-ball. What happened to it?
I still stand on trading PG. Too many turnovers tonight.
I fear VJ has no ceiling. A team purely built around the him and Maxey 3-4 years from now is going to be unbelievable…if done right that is.
Everyone finally starting to click at the right time, get Oubre and Watford back and keep building something beautiful
If Joel Embiid’s surgeon fucked my wife I would’ve had zero problems with it
Undefeated in 2026, stop the count!
Ill advised trade and lucking into Flagg just to get punked by the Sixers. Guess Dallas Sucks has broken contain
Undefeated in 2026
Fuck the Cowboys
I am glad Grimes actually hit some 3’s out there… because I watched Julian Champagnie hit 11 threes in that Spurs comeback win last night against the Knicks and thought about how nice he would be if he was still on the Sixers.
VJ is a 2-way all star player. Grimes bounceback game. Joel looks like he turned back the clock. PG playing excellent, sane, selfless 2-way basketball. Maxey 34-8-10 and me just going “yeah that seems correct” (2 blocks and 2 steals btw)
Also – they won handidly and it was a fun, fun watch. Enjoying this!
Obviously we’re not even halfway through his rookie year, but VJ has that intangible it factor. If he continues to grow and develop it almost feels more likely than not he can be something special.
He provides a lot of hope for this team over the next few years.
God our starting backcourt is elite
Maxey:
34 PTS / 8 REB / 10 AST / 2 STL / 2 BLK
VJ:
23 PTS / 5 REB / 2 AST / 4 STL / 1 BLK
Games like this make me believe they can win it all with good health and actual smart play, instead of tons of CTE and crappy Isolation
Just gotta see them do this again against the Knicks and any other good teams this month
Good shit
This was such a fun game. This was a win without any drama which is rare. I love these kinds of wins and I hope we get more of em
Vj is insane holy shit man , I hope mccain gets it together sad watching him miss and be In his head
Jared probably needs a stint in the G-League. If he gets back to what he showed last year, then I just think we’ll have one of the most relentless backcourts in the league.
where are the worse with embiid people
I really like the 3 guard lineup, Maxey always starts to cook when they play that
VJ “Him” Edgecombe. I’m absolutely blown away, I never thought he’d excel as a wing player like this(certainly not year one), but this goes to show you what can be done when hungry dogs run faster. Gotta tip your cap and that’s another ROY argument: No rookie has improved more from his freshman year to now. If VJ were in college, I can’t even imagine the numbers he’d be putting up right now.
Yeah, that last few minutes Maxey was chasing the triple double but I can’t blame him, for most of that game he was on one. I’ve been saying you gotta forgive some of the stuff that comes with a combo guard, and 34/10/8 is some James Harden stuff so yeah.
Q Dot was insane.
Where are the “Embiid is a ballhog” people?
Vj HIMcombe
the past 2 games the Sixers look like the team we have all wanted them to be all season. I was at that game they lost to the Nets and was kind of down on the team after that game, but these last 2 games I’m back in, they are fun to watch again
