1. Personally I would prefer to give Hauser a real shot this year. But I also liked Valentine and Jackson’s draft profile when they came out. Perhaps we can develop Sam while also having one of these guys on the roster. I guess we’ll see what happens.

2. Tbh, not really news.

   It’s confusing because we have 3 roster spots left for next season and we already knew these guys were getting camp invites so the report makes it seem like these guys have been upgraded to proper contracts.

   But that doesn’t seem like the case.

   These 3 were camp invites and they still are camp invites until we see them sign something guaranteed.

3. I like Justin Jackson as a deep bench guy

4. I like the *idea* of Denzel Valentine as our 13th man, but I hate ACTUAL Denzel as a player. In theory, he could be a decent ball handling wing, but Brodric Thomas is a better version of that, on a 2 way deal.

   Give me Kabengele, Layman and (idk…..Brodric?) as our final 3.

5. I knew Justin Jackson wouldn’t pan out after that first pitch he threw.

6. Fun fact: Jake Layman is from Norwood, MA and went to King Philip High School

7. Real question is: Who steps up to be next year’s Malik Fitts, Matt Ryan, Aaron Nesmith, etc. for wild bench celebration purposes.
