  1. We’re a quality team, but also highly flawed. Sometimes those flaws show up in bunches.

  2. Mookie was perfect Friday in the blowout so naturally he has to go 0fer the rest of the series. Freddie also sucked all series

  3. Dropping series to Tampa and New York in back to back weekends really exposed the ceiling of this team.

  4. Regardless of this shitty ending, Miller has solidified himself as a top tier starter. Two games without giving up over one run against top playoff contenders is exactly what you’d want from him

  5. Extremely boring game to watch, Miller did his job perfectly but apparently that didn’t matter due to horseshit base running and our stars not doing anything. Tough loss.

  6. An absolutely pathetic showing when the entire division lost. Graterol throwing a ball into the outfield for a 2nd time this week is a joke. Getting picked off down 3 can’t happen. This team needs to get their shit together. Been playing mediocre baseball for a while now.

  7. Props to Bobby Miller. Guy is a dawg. He held out and did plenty for our bullpen but the offense couldn’t give them room to breath

^(_🌭 have no actual value except for bragging rights._)

  9. 6 runs in the 1st inning on Friday night. After that, we scored 6 runs in the 26 innings that have followed

  10. I feel sorry for every Dodger fan who spent hundreds or thousands of dollars to watch that in person.

  11. First series all year that pissed me off. Bullpen besides Phillips is a fucking dumpster fire. Can’t go 3-3 at home. Embarrassing.

  12. We’re legit the best and worst but we have 0 best in relievers (i.e., shut out and won’t allow a run)

  13. I’ll hold onto my head cannon that if BM had gone 7 we would have won 1-0

  14. Win or lose we all lose being subjected to the ESPN coverage for three hours on a beautiful Sunday afternoon

  15. Hate embarrassing ourselves on national tv against the Yankees, Astros or Red Sox. This time it was the Yankees

Anyways Miller looked great. I think Scott Barlow looking more like a potential bullpen target with our bullpen issues this season

  16. This bullpen is so bad. Another solid starting pitching performance from one our rooks and Brusdar with his terrible defense comes in and blows it again. I’m usually not one to complain about May/June losses but it’s a shame to watch Bobby Miller go out there and pitch a gem on national television only for our terrible bullpen to sell the game. Wannabe Jeter homer in the ninth, Will picked off with nobody out, hitless from our 1-4 tonight. Oh well, at least we have a bunch of cupcakes on our upcoming schedule to get us back on track. Need to address the bullpen at the deadline. We don’t need more starting pitching

  17. I am glad there is an off-day tomorrow so the team can lay in the bed they shat. Hopefully it wakes them up.

  18. I can deal with losing a game. I have a hard time understanding a bonehead throw to…I’m assuming Graterol was aiming for first base? That was PAINFUL.

Great pitching again from Bobby Miller. He had a slow start, but hung in there to throw more strikeouts than German. 🤯 Miller should be in our rotation to stay. He’s earned it!

  19. Honestly, is was excellent starting pitching from both sides, no complaints. I find it unacceptable that Brusdar didn’t learn from his recent fielding gaffe, and instead repeated it even more wildly.

  20. The last two games of this series really highlighted to me a big difference in these teams. The Dodgers *might* make you pay if you leave a mistake pitch over the middle of the plate, while the Yankees will make you pay on the mistake pitch. I won’t deny the Dodgers had some bad BABIP luck with a lot of balls tattoo’d straight to a glove. But there were also a lot of fat pitches that were watched, missed, or popped straight up. Meanwhile when a Dodgers pitch was left hanging, the Yankees hitters didnt need BABIP luck because they put the ball in the seats (or damn near in the seats in the case of Stanton’s double today). Gotta take advantage of every single mistake against good teams, and the Dodgers just didn’t do that these last two days and it showed.

On the positive: Outside of one or two pitches, I thought both rookie pitchers (actually three with Tayler Scott in relief) looked great this series. I was thinking the bullpen might get overworked with two rookies starting, but they held their own and got through at least 5 each.

Gotta regroup and shake it off with a series in home run haven next

  21. What a wasted opportunity for Bobby Miller to pick up his third win of his career. Offense couldn’t muster more than 1 run and bullpen took a big fat dump on the mound.

  22. Both the losses in this series were definitely winnable, tough to see the performance from the top 4 of our lineup today. Let’s get some rest tomorrow and sweep the reds.

  23. They can learn a few things from this series. You learn nothing by beating a team like the Nationals.

  24. We have a ton of holes in this offense. If mookie/freeman/JD don’t ball, the rest of the lineup is trash

  25. Time to clean house in this bullpen and cut everyone who can’t perform in the clutch. It’s time for Outman to be sent down.
