1. Some of us had no clue (me), and some of us saw his potential.

2. I remember watching a video of bratt doing some on ice work outs in the summer of 2019. His skating gave him away as top line player potential. So happy to see him put it all together the last few years and thrive and earn that contract.

3. I think the first time I realized Bratt was more than just another bottom 6 guy, was when he really started to take his edge work to the next level. I can’t remember seeing a Devil skate like that in the last decade.

4. This is why drafting is so important yet such a gamble sometimes.

5. I remember watching him in preseason and thinking “who the fuck is that holy shit they’re good” I even put like $20 on him to win Calder that year lol
