He was great when healthy. Unfortunately the game took its toll.
Injuries suck, he had a lot of potential.
Bummer. Dude had great potential
This is why teams don’t pay RBs at the same time this is also why teams should pay RBs lol. Knowing most of then don’t last long but play a position that punishes them the most it sucks for them
Dam I really liked when we took him a few years back. To bad the injuries ended his career prematurely 😞Â
Won two National Championships, got to play with Tom Brady and coached by Belichick, and had a 1,000-yard season. Not a bad football career
I feel like there’s more to the injury he got last year than was lead on. Idk if anyone else remembers but he was carted off and the ambulance came onto the field.
Fun to watch when healthy
I loved watching him play, a respectable run.
I saw that picture with him and Mac when they were younger and I really thought they were the future, man. It sucks, because he ran with such anger and passion but his body couldn’t keep up.
I really loved him as a player, was so much fun to watch and seemed like a fun, good guy
Talk about getting screwed. Walks away with 4m total earnings over five seasons.
Big Dame! Thanks for the angry runs
Will always remember the lone touchdown in the legendary wind game against the Bills. Probably Belichick’s finest moment in the post-Brady era.
He always ran hard as a Patriot and I was always a fan of his North-south style. Felt like he hit the hole pretty hard and was the perfect complement to Rhamondre.
Only 27. Jeez
Don’t let your kids be running backs.
$4m career earnings. Pretty modest by athlete standards but if he took care of his money then he should be set for life from a young age.
Good call. Neck injury, hamstrings, probably other things we didn’t know about. Walk away now so you can walk with your kids pain-free later.
Him and Sony already out of the league
Some of the runs he had were actually insane, feels like he was underappreciated with how mediocre we were when he was here
I loved his violent running style. He dished out a lot of punishment.
