They’re prolly gonna roll a lot of it into next year to help pay Mahomes’s future cap hits. We moved a bunch of money out of this year for Mahomes just in case. And if they don’t end up needing it then roll it into future years
Be dumb not to sign some depth
Nate Taylor in this (and prior tweets) is making it sound like Danna is coming back once Sneed’s money officially opens on our cap. Very much would welcome him back, then he mentioned Donovan Smith again at LT or other options like David Bakhtiari, Duane Brown and Andre Dillard for a veteran LT for Wanya Morris to backup and learn with. Wouldn’t hate any of these moves prior to the draft, wondering if they will use remaining on a veteran backup RB or another veteran WR.
Small contracts and save it. This wasn’t a move to improve the team this year. It was a move to save money.
