Substantively we get about the same out of Doc that we would from Bud
it’s just that with Bud its a bunch of “yeah no uhh” [insert filler that has no emotional value]” where with doc he ends up making people feel as tense as possible
Giannis? We sent that scrub to the Herd.
No update is all we’re going to get until the game. Can’t hang onto every non answer heading into playoffs. The only injury report that matters is the one on Sunday.

It’s their job to ask. It’s also not the coaches responsibility to advertise the game plan either outside of the rules for announcing injuries…which is designating them by 5pm the night before a game.
Twitter ruined the world. Of course they are gonna divulge as little as possible until game day.
I don’t care what anyone says, doc is fucking hilarious. We’re not going to get anything of substance from doc on Giannis or dame, why would they let the pacers know? Bud would do the same but doc’s responses are legit hilarious. Let’s get this man a ring in the city he played college hoops

I’d prefer he not play until game 2 regardless of an update.
Why would he actually want to share this information? Even if he doesn’t know, he’s working a plan with people he knows will be available. I really don’t have any concern with this.
It’s only Wednesday with 4 days until game 1 and the 1st round is like 2 weeks long. It’s gonna be exhausting putting energy keeping up with this stuff day-to-day as a fan when we know the team is going to play things close to the vest throughout the series.
