  1. I ended up buying MLB.tv through Amazon last season, which meant I could only watch through the prime video app.

Can anyone chime in on how well the MLB.tv app works (both mobile/pc)?

The prime app was okay but had some annoying behaviors and I’m not sure where to begrudgingly toss my money this year.

  2. If you are a season ticket member or have T-Mobile or Sprint you will get MLBTV for free. You can use a VPN to get around black out rules. But that is frowned upon by admins on here.

  3. Consider any cable packages offered by your internet provider. I added on bally for an extra $50 or so every month. It’s not great but after years of trouble trying to get around everything, it’s a huge relief to just be able to turn on the game in a click

  4. Turn your radio to 97.3. Close your eyes and just pretend you are watching the tv. Sometimes Mud is on the radio cast so it helps the effect

  5. Use a VPN. Super easy to set up, and set your”location” to anywhere outside CA and you’re good

  6. Using a vpn service is not against the law. You still are paying for MLBTV’s streaming service.

  7. Normally I get mlbtv for free from T-Mobile, and now I live in CO so we get to actually watch the games

  8. Hopefully something will finally change for the better when Bally Sports kicks the bucket

  9. I have the Bally Sports app and luckily my parents still have Cox cable. I know that’s not available for everyone but if you can get a cable login you can watch on the Bally app

  10. The only way to watch it legally is to pay for cable or direct TV and pay a boat load of money. It’s a dam shame what they did to the game

  11. MLBtv which was only a problem with Cubs and White Sox games but with the Padres making more national games it’s increasingly an issue with the stupid blackouts.

  12. DirectTV has a package that includes Bally Sports San Diego which totals out to $90/month, which is absolutely absurd.

But Bally Sports+ for $20/month should have Padres games for 2023 (don’t quote me on that)
